Ugh I'm still so damn pissed. If Gibbs didn't walk before, I would have stopped watching this game because of these idiots who are supposed to enforce "fair play"

LOL! How can anyone say not out to that Kumble appeal? I was just waiting for the umpire's finger to be raised, figured it was a certainty that he'd give that one.

By the way, VRV has not been supported by Dravid with the fields IMO. Fair enough he drifts down legside too often and oversteps, but he bowled a couple of fierce spells (his 1st and last especially) but this 7-2 business (I know the commentators have harped on it far too much already, but its true) has given SA plenty of free runs. When you're owning a batsman like VRV was doing to both Boucher and Prince, you keep them on strike.

Alright we need to break this partnership. We technically have done it thrice already, but we have to do it again. Come on guys!

I'm not even watching it anymore. Probably won't even watch it until tomorrow. Not fun watching when your team is getting robbed of everything they have.

Very silly.

Some people don't have the opportunity to watch Indian cricket because they either live in countries which don't show it, or don't have the money to pay for pay TV etc.

I treasure most times when Indian test cricket is shown live here in Aus, I guess you get it all the time in India but I still think its a bit silly to just switch the TV off because the umpires have had a crap game.

Jono you're right, but when your team does everything it can do and you still don't get wickets because the umpires are tools, sometimes you wonder whether you should really waste your energy watching and hoping for another wicket.

I'm only enraged about the Kumble lbw - while the others were out but not absolutely plumb from the naked eye, this one was.

You are right. I don't know if you know, but I actually live in US and only in India for a short while. Anyway if I was in US, I would still be watching the match, because I would pay for it. But in India I'll just wait until tomorrow.

LOL @ the over-reactions in this thread.
Well you should expect that when we have 3 guys giving live commentary on the match in here. In retrospect, the Kumble decision was absolutely pathetic - that's not an overreaction.

Did you happen to see the decisions? Did you happen to notice the fact that the umpire told VRV singh to not walk on the pitch when Nel was all over the pitch after every ball last test and nothing at all was said to him. Did you happen to notice the umpires are telling Sreesanth not to be aggressive, when nothing ever said to Nel?

It's not that bad. Bad day at the office. There have been worse days. Very bad decision to Kumble, and its not excusable, but it happens.

Tendulkar, who went for a precautionary x-ray after he injured himself while trying to take a catch at first slip (the ball just fell short)is back in the dressing room with a big bandage on this hand, so says Keith Lane our man at Durban. There has been no official update yet. We will keep you posted....

From cricinfo. Can he bat?

Can't believe SA fans lay into Prince when he's been so good for them for around 18 months now. Don't know what more they can ask from him.

He gets verbally barraged by Warne, Australian players and the media for not being able to play spin back in 2005/06 tour of Aus, and he goes and scores a century in the 3rd test in Sydney against Warne. Now he's fighting when his team has their backs to the wall for the third innings in a row.

Yes. There is no fracture, just a bruise. It should be fine by the time he comes to bat.

No doubt at all the Kumble and VRV to Boucher deliveries were plumb. But it happens. So telling umpires to burn in hell, when without them you wouldn`t have a match, is an over-reaction. :)
