I haven't read much about Morkel to be honest, only tidbits here and there. And obviously I haven't seen him yet. How does he add more variety then Steyn would had he not been injured?

He's very tall and gets good pace with natural bounce. Donald has praised him heavily.

Damn it, our bowlers are just handing it to Gibbs and Prince now. The pitch isn't helping, but neither are the bowlers.

Good knock, but if you look at how many of his runs were scored through boundaries, its quite interesting. Did not turn the strike over much.

The field placing has a little bit to do with that too though. Anything wayward gets knocked through for the boundry through the leg side.
