Choc, best debut ever?
I don't know what you got banned for, and it wasn't a link, it was an attachment.

I'm a little late on this, but congrats to India on this deserving win! After the ODI's, I was expecting a serious thumping for them, but they bounced back stupendously. Well played.

One thing that Sreesanth said in his post game interview was the importance of the MRF pace academy. Looks like Lillee is doing an excellent job there in Chennai.

Congratulations India on a well deserved win. Actually, it was a well deserved loss for South Africa. If this is the way we play cricket, we should be pushed back to the minor leagues. :@
Loved Sree's bowling, antics and gamesmanship. A bit like a mini Nel except he bowls much better and more consistantly.
Shaking Prince's hand when he got his 50 was, IMO, an outstanding gesture from Sree. . I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of this guy. :)

I woke up today at 5:30, saw the match was over and went online to Cricinfo and found out India won! Great great victory, splendid stuff from India, just hope they keep it up.

Read the past 10-12 pages of this thread which I missed out on when I went to sleep, sounds like I missed a lot. Anyways, kinda' pissed that India won and I wasn't able to watch the end... Don't know when the highlights are coming on. But, nonetheless, I am quite overjoyed.

I say we win 2-0 the Test series (really no sarcasm involved I mean it, I really believe that these guys can pull it off) ...

You say a lot. Can you mail me the crack that you're on, please? I'd like to try it.

I think it will be a reverse of the NZ/S.L series.
South Africa to win the next test.

They are still clearly the favorites to take the series 2-1, but this gives me hope that we can give a good fight for the rest of the series and maybe score another upset, or at least a draw to keep from losing one of the tests.

Dude, trust me, I said 2-0 and it will BE 2-0!

And I'll be picked as a replacement for Jaffer and respond with a double century and a ten wicket haul on debut. Mind you, its a lot more likely than it was four days ago..but still extremely unlikely.

SA are a very good team at home, and we aren't very good away. We will need to better our performance (cause SA will better theirs) to even have a shot.

Okay I'll save these two posts for after the Test Series or even maybe after this match, just like I saved those two posts before the first test match.

Oh boy just saw Sreesanth's dance on youtube, frickin' hilarious! He's is atm my favourite cricketer. People keep saying it was a pathetic dance and not in good spirit... Boy not only did it entertain every single person watching the match but it also has built a great rivalry between Nel and Sreesanth. It was about time someone stood up to and responded back to Nel. And I think we need to have a little bit of fun like this in Cricket.

There will, no doubt, be a constant battle going on between Nel and Sreesanth not only throughout the rest of the Test Series but also throughout other series and tournaments that are to come. But I am afraid Nel is going to get Sreesanth back for that!
