This is good stuff from Zondo so far. Other SA lower-middle order batsmen (Duminy, Behardien) completely shut shop during these periods of crisis. He's keeping the scoreboard ticking.

Decent situation to make a debut. No pressure to score at a quick rate. Opposition has 2 good spinners but both are similar bowlers to Tahir and Shamsi who he must've played a few times in the nets.

Good to see SA continue their great performance from the first ODI..... I can see that Duminy and Miller also continue to work on their issues against spin.

Post 2019 Odi cricket looks bleak for us to be honest from a top 6 point of view. Amla, ABD and Faf probably not going to be around. Our three best players of spin.

Faf is horrendous against spin, atleast in the longer forms when defence becomes more important.

Really? I would not call him horrendous? Not as good as AB and Amla, but then not many are...
His record in Asia is pretty crap, to put it bluntly. His blank of an Indian tour has a lot to do with that, obviously, but he hasn't shone elsewhere when he's had the chance.

Got to rack the brain to think of a more comprehensive defeat at home than this. Was thinking earlier that de Kock and Amla were too cautious up front but we know why that is.

That was South Africa's lowest total at home.

In half an hour or so, its going to be lunch even though there's only going to be around 40 runs left to score. Thats a ridiculous rule. Needs to be amended. In these kind of situations and today they should allow play to continue for another 30 or so mins, so that the game can be finished off.

Wouldn't be cricket if we didn't have dumb situations like these. Still remember the time SA needed like 15 runs or something to finish off a small chase vs India in a test back in 2013 and they actually went off for tea.
