haha good pointOn a side note I think he finds Elgar particularly annoying because he is the total opposite of an 'intent' player in Kohlis eyes.

Maybe another 2 demerit points? Would be icing on the cake for him to get banned for the Wanderers test... I really don't mind passion in players. It is when they behave like petulant children that gets to me.Besides his tantrum and fine supposedly he was involved in heavy altercations and sledging with Elgar during the match too
Ha Ha, like Reverse Flash, Elgar is Reverse IntentOn a side note I think he finds Elgar particularly annoying because he is the total opposite of an 'intent' player in Kohlis eyes.
Oh man some good memories there.Brings back memories
I’m surprised there haven’t been more occasions of this. The irony about Jo Angel’s double is it occurred in a match infamous for England’s terrible fielding.First Indian to do so fwiw. Also, got to laugh at/feel for John Trim in that list, run out for a duck in both innings. One was a golden, too.
Actually, in the 2nd innings, him and the guy next in both got run-out for goldens. That's quite something.
This. Trying to think of the last side who did well away from home and obviously not many, but Pakistan showed up to England very early and were ready to go for the England test series. If I was Indian supported I'd still be furious at the lack of any credible preparation for this series. Admittedly teams that are put out these days to play against the touring team are of questionable quality, but for an Indian team playing in conditions nothing like what they're used to (although this last Test had some comparisons) for them to have a realistic hope of winning the series, and not just trying to be as competitive as possible, they needed to in SA earlier than they were and with a couple of tour games lined up to build some familiarity with conditions. They may well still have found themselves 2-0 down at this point, but you have to give yourself the best opportunity.
I know schedules these days allow little time for a couple of weeks in a country before the Tests start, but this is still an essential part of succeeding in away series.

Young Zulu 8-for there (test debut with Hersch) and also McMillan's slip catching arguably one of the best slippers the game has seen.
Pity no viewing of my favourite Indian batsman Mohammed Azharuddin
I was at the ground for this match, I remember I was sitting where Bacher made that ridiculous catch to get rid of TendulkarAzharuddin had a couple of sensational hundreds in that series.
He scored one in 70 odd balls hitting Klusener for 5 fours in an over. IIRC it was in the same match that Klusener came back and took 8.
Australia were more than competitive in India.This. Trying to think of the last side who did well away from home and obviously not many, but Pakistan showed up to England very early and were ready to go for the England test series.
but heh smacking around lahiru gamage isn't ideal prep for Rabada and Morkel? Shocked.
Constantly under pressure because of Kohli. It’s like they want him to fail sometimes.I can't get over how Pujara can get himself run out twice in the same match.
Should they have Parthiv keep in the next match????Dinesh will be traveling all the way from Chennai to Johansberg which is around 7,133 km to play next test. Not sure how that will work as other players who are already in SA are still struggling to adapt.
