There's not much happening out there for the India quicks. Might be a bit more work for Ashwin in this first innings.

Losing a toss on this sort of wicket is probably the worst thing that could happen to us in SA. Not to mention we're missing our best batsman for the conditions and 2 of the best bowlers.

A little bit on offer for bowpers clearly. We haven't been good enough to exploit it. We will be following on.

This is hilarious, drop the best bowler from the last match and the person who faced the most balls combined during the match, basically the only person holding the fragile tail together. Only India seem to make these radical changes on a daily basis. A 9,10,11 tail of Ishant, Shami and Bumrah is laughable.

Ishant has bowled well and was always coming in for the Highveld test matches. Now they've made the decision they better hope Pandya is versatile to keep it tight.

The odd ball is still seaming here from Ishant and Markram is clearly circumspect because of the extra bounce.

I would have left out Shami and Bumrah for Ishant and Umesh.

Ganguly would have made Pandya open. Will Kohli do something like that? He's a ****** ao I don't see why not.

Some turn and obviously some bounce for Ashwin, albeit all happening quite slowly. Reckon he's going to enjoy bowling at Elgar here.

SA definitely playing more aggressive than what we are used to... Markram and Elgar hooking at balls with 2 men back not normal for them. I am happy for them to be hooking, but not with 2 men on the boundary like that.
