All i care is to see them maintaining their averages while playing outside sub-continent!

We have to wait for that.

Till then this will do :)

Well now. India have gained a slender lead, Pakistan will be under a bit of pressure early on.. wonder who is going to open. Kaneria got some balls to kick and turn, so some encouraging signs for the Indian spinners.

I the pitch for the last match happen to be dead one again, then i would like India to go into the match with 5 bowlers in order to get 20 Pak wkts. However if the pitch has some life in it, then i think India will be better off player 6 batsmen.
Lets just presume that the karachi pitch will be more conducive to bowling than these two so far. With this hypothesis, you're saying India should go with 6 batsmen and 4 bowlers. Fair enough. But then you also want Agarkar in the team, and assuming that you will still keep Habh and Kumble, that means you can have only one more medium pacer in RP Singh or Zaheer (note, only one of them). Not only does this bowling lineup look quite weak (Agarkar, Kumble, Harbh, RP Singh), but also the lower order batting looks a bit weak as well, since you will now have Ganguly (another dinosaur, albeit with a lot of reasons to make the team) and no Pathan.

Pathan's looking much better right now. He's bowling around 82 or 83 mph (medium-fast) as opposed to the high 70s he was bowling at earlier (medium), and he's accurate.

I think India will go with five bowlers again. If they go with four, they may drop Harbhajan unless he comes up with a very good performance in this Pakistan innings.

Its funny how people were jumping against the idea of 5 bowlers when it was brought up initially by Arjun, me. Also, the reaction after day 1 when I stated happiness at 5 bowlers being there despite India's apparent poor position.

The only position in which Pakistan will look for quick runs is if they're 100 or so ahead on first innings.

If not then they'll look to occupy the crease till the close of Day 5.
After 14.1 overs, Pakistan are 59/1. :p
