Its so weird that Razzaq plays the exact opposite style of play in test cricket compared to ODIs. He's a real hitter in ODI cricket, but in test matches he certanly loves occupying the crease.

That was awesome.

And a more awesome shot for a six now. Keep in mind it was a miss hit. So just imagine how long it would have gone had it been meddled!

International 12th Man
100.6 Khan to Shahid Afridi, no run, full and on the stumps, slower ball,
inside edge to the leg side
100.5 Khan to Shahid Afridi, FOUR, and another! Sliughtly short and
outside the off, Afridi pulls this one in front of midwicket for
another boundary!
100.4 Khan to Shahid Afridi, FOUR, another short one, the result is quite
simple, a vicious Afridi pull to the square-leg boundary
100.3 Khan to Shahid Afridi, two runs, full and outside the off, driven
through cover
100.2 Khan to Shahid Afridi, SIX, another short one, this one is mis-hit.
Afridi can't quite get hold of it, but that has gone far back into
the stands! Such power! This is awesome hitting
100.1 Khan to Shahid Afridi, FOUR, short and outside the off, that ball
just does not get up and Afridi pulls with fierce power in front
of midwicket!

8 off 40 balls for Razzaq. No point in having a lot of players taking risks in tests in most situations. A good strategy from Pakistan.

International 12th Man
104.2 Kumble to Shahid Afridi, SIX, slightly short of a driving length,
does not stop Afridi. Four men on the fence does not prevent him
from hitting this over midwicket, over the stands and out of the
ground! That is a HUGE hit

This is what I don't understand about the Indian seamers, it is quite evident that after the first two balls of the over, that the short stuff isn't working as the ball is not bouncing. However, Zaheer "The Brains" Khan, still persists with the short pitched bowling plan even though in the space of 6 balls it has cost him, and the team 18 runs. (This will probably be applicable to all of India's bowlers, this is just a good example as I haven't seen the game live) Why don't these idiots think! :@. Don't know if Dravid has had words with his bowlers but they seem to be bowling without any thought whatsoever!

Not taking anything away from Afridi though, great knock. He can only hit what is in front of him!

Interesting how different Afridi's average has been since Woolmer has been coach? He was out of the Pakistan team for a while too.

150 for Afridi now in this inning :D Amazing really.

105.1 Pathan to Shahid Afridi, FOUR, short of a length and outside the
off, Afridi plays a cross court topspin forehand to the midwicket
fence that would have done Jim Courier proud!

lol are u tellin me his avg is 150 since woolmer took over?

I think Dravid is completely lost. No idea why the absolutely ineffective and listless Pathan is still bowling and RP Singh the highest wicket taker resting ? I think Dravid's sedate style of leadership has put the Indian players to sleep
