I read that but to be fair some others claimed he INSISTED on opening and thats what the finger pointing was all about.

I'm sure the Indian selectors and Dravid and Chappell too won't just look at the figures when judging how the bowlers went. AA was poor, worse than the rest because he never looked like getting a wicket unless it was scooped to an outfielder. Granted no bowler bowled well, but AA was even unthreatening with the new ball.
