Can we realistically expect any results in Tests considering the weather, the bowling lineups and the expected pitches?
Weather should be ok. Generally throughout the whole summer the only day it has rained has been the one with the ODI on it. A week either side of the game and the weather has been beautiful. Though, in saying that these test matches arent being played in our summer.

Blue sky here now...and the weather I have here is 30 mins away from Eden Park.

43 overs providing no rain,

coming to the tests there is always hope Napier has 4 days of good weather in a row but that hasnt been true for cricket matches over the years. Wellington in April should be intersting.

Only way to get results is to produce bowler friendly wickets in my opinion becuase Napeir if it does get a whole game is a batsman's test, but last year we had a superb test match Eng v NZ

Styris does come in for Thompson largely due to change of overs and more batting power i guess. You know what the reduction means and the likelihood of more rain, more aggression just like all the other ODIs played so far. We will have to bowl out of our skin.

Now lads, lets bowl well this time.

India to be reduced to 6/34 before a hurricane sweeps the ground and its rained off.

A shame that Tendulkar's not playing, big crowd of Indian supporters there who won't get what would be their last chance to see him in Auckland.
