Yep.Was it the famous Martin-away-swinger-to-left-hander ball?

Very harsh. Martin's been consistently the best of our seamers today, doing what he usually does. He's no world beater, but he bowls fast and accurately which you can't necessarily say for too many other bowlers in the side. I've been quitely pleased with how he's gone. Not sure how I feel tbh, good to get Gambhir out, but it was Martin, the most over-rated bowler we've had since....I don't know.
Yeah! Br1ng In ThOmmo!!!Not sure how I feel tbh, good to get Gambhir out, but it was Martin, the most over-rated bowler we've had since....I don't know.
Have to say, although it's one of those oft-repeated chestnuts (which are often BS), Martin does bowl pretty well to left-handers at times.Yep.
Nothing against him personally, i just have an irrational hatred of how people rate him as the be all end all of our seam attack. just like you and Greg Hay really.Very harsh. Especially ones called Graeme Smith.Have to say, although it's one of those oft-repeated chestnuts (which are often BS), Martin does bowl pretty well to left-handers at times.
Which is weird because he's much better at FC than ListAYep
Nah I wouldn't want him in tests, he's only ever been an ODI prospect in my book.
FC pitches are more bowler friendly though, which helps explain it imo, either that or he suddenly starts bowling 130 and bowlinf some vicious swing.Which is weird because he's much better at FC than ListA
I think that would be a good idea - basic good manners and sportsmanship if you ask me. In fact anything other than that would be quite selfish... Think of poor Yuvraj Singh, coming in at 6 - would he prefer to come in at 170/4, when he gets a real chance to make his mark and stamp his name on the series? Be a hero for his country. Or rather 500/4 when he gets no credit whatsoever for patting round an easy 50 of the demoralised and exhausted bowlers? Definitely the former if you ask me.Especially ones called Graeme Smith.
Perhaps we should ask Dravid and Tendulkar to bat the other way round?
dwtai hate to keep harping on about this, but mills just looks so hittable. Not a test player.
Agree with you in general - have thought for the last few years that Mills is a direct swap for Franklin between ODI and tests.I hate to keep harping on about this, but Mills just looks so hittable. Not a test player.
Bingo!O'Brilliant to pick up a wicket here.
Hrmph... looking very much like the latter at the moment.Franky back on - could be a wicket or lots of runs.
