Fair enough. I actually think T20s are for franchise cricket and not for Internationals. I just feel that in a format where there is so little room for error and disproportionate reward for luck factor, super over amplifies it to absurd proportions. Might as well use coin toss to determine a winner.I like the uniqueness that a T20 game will ALWAYS have a winner though. It differentiates it from other formats. Not that I disagree with anything you posted here,SS, but I think T20 needs that added attraction and that is what the super over gives it.
Who did he abuse and what did he say?NZ would be gutted with this loss but have themselves to blame. Taylor not finishing one of these 2 matches was unexpected.
On a side note, is there a single opposition player whom Kohli hasn't abused ? The list of expletives in his dictionary is truly incredible.
From minor lip movements, I could recognize him sending off departing batsmen with words like m* and b*. Saw him do that twice or thrice but don't remember the batsmen. Not the first time though and definitely not the last time.Who did he abuse and what did he say?
NZ panicked. Shardul was pretty average. Bowled 2 good knuckle balls but rest were regular shite. Saini in penultimate over was much much better. That plus the last over
Agree. Kuggs / Tickner / Jamieson have white ball potential and need game time. If you need an experienced back up to the top 3 seamers due to injury or rotation then Bennett has more variety and can bowl a heavier ball than Rance.... but at the same time I’m quite pleased with the teams we’ve started picking and the lack of Seth ****ing Rance
Here's my solution: We play a single day domestic super over tournament on Waitangi Day every year.
We can either let association have a turn to host it, or pick one venue (possibly Whangarei for the proximity to Waitangi) to host it every year.
The day would work with every team playing a super over against every other team, (15 super overs) then semi-finals and a final.

ODI yes. Test no. T20I perhaps, but were there better options?... when we've got a skipper who has been a passenger in all formats since the 2015 wc....
