Should have been KL Rahul. Got runs in the main match and the super over, kept his composure with the runouts in the last over.Today was worse for NZ. They were chasing a smaller target and were facing Shardul not Shami in the last over. Incredible how they allowed Shardul to defend the score. We have to endure credit being given to our worst bowler in the presser.

Ha! You are brave, even when WASP had NZ at over 90% I had nagging doubts. I had little confidence in Santner coming out ahead of Kuggeleijn.
It was still surreal to see lightning strike twice though. Poor Southee.

he's a knob but i was wondering the other day how meme things would get if lehmann coached our lot. he'd be so torn on southee. southee bowls too slow for him but 2011 southee sledged all day.
i think he'd play ferguson, milne and sears every game and southee would be told to get fiery from 12th man.

He was so **** today before the final over. Even final over was more **** batting by NZ than good bowling by Thakur. I don't know how he could get MoM. There are about 6 players in Indian side alone who did better than him in today's game.

Did his part with the bat though.
Caught the last two overs and super over of this match. Batting from NZ was just bizarre. Seemed absolutely incapable of going for the easy singles instead of the slogs when that was all that was really needed. Seiffert's run out was pretty bad as well. When the guy on strike just hit a 4 and a dot ball would still leave only 3 off 3, I see literally no reason for going for that incredibly risky single and getting out, and leaving a new tail-order batsman in to win the game.

I feel super over is redundant in JAMt20s. Scoreline of 2-0 reflects the series outcome better than 4-0.

I think the whole point is to ensure a T20 cricket game always has a result. That differentiates it from the other formats.
And a good point brought up on cricbuzz live by both the Hindi experts (Sehwag, Ajay Jadeja) as well as the English ones (Zak and Harsha Bhogle). Why did Seiferrt run like that when you only need 3 off 4? Even if that ball is a dot ball it is 3 off 3 and you have a guy who just smashed a boundary. NZ just seem to have forgotten how to get bat on ball in the last over scenarios.
