i didnt see the over he got smashed in but im not sure i like bennett bowling so many variations. it's nice he has them but he's always been at his best bowling fast and hitting the deck hard, blowing away spuds who don't like it above the hip.

That definitely didn't work for him in his first two overs.

Excellent comeback, barring one over and a drop catch by Santner I think we were quite good. Bennett came back quite strongly picking up 3 for 14 in his last two overs. Shows how level headed he is.

I think we will be fine here as long as one or two Indian bowlers have an off day. We need to go after it not minding losing a wicket or two to put some pressure on the Indian bowlers otherwise they will walk all over us.

Would like one of Guptill and Munro to bat through most of the innings, they've provided NZ with their fair share of rapid starts in recent times but it's been mostly cameo performances.

munro needs to go play some red ball cricket. he's become such a square of the wicket whore since quitting it. a shadow of the player he used to be even in domestic super smash.
