If they're already ahead of the over rate why don't they just get more overs in? This way they'll have an hour to bowl 8 overs. They'll finish early and have a 50 minute lunch break instead of the 30 min one they're supposed to have.

Add the 3 overs they could have bowled while staring at clouds.

But logic isn't really taken into account.

You get the feeling before this tour, people outside NZ were probably thinking he was highly lucky and fortunate to have scored those runs, yet with the world watching against a good Indian side, he's showing hitting power from ball 1.
