***Official*** India in New Zealand 2013/14

India has the batting to achieve this...if only Kohli thinks like that it is an ODI then it is very much possible

The thing is NZ will ALWAYS be in the game unless they absolutely **** this up. Just like in reality India were always in the Jo'burg game against South Africa. Obviously South Africa were close too, but even with partnerships, in big chases if you break it you're always damn close to winning.

The only thing the first hour will tell us tomorrow is whether India are still a chance. NZ will still be in it. In fact, NZ will be a chance for pretty much the rest of the match unless India have a 200 run partnership or something.

Barely been able to sleep tonight. So much anticipation for today's play. Is this weird and unhealthy? No imo.

A 200 run partnership is not that far fetched when you have Kohli and Pujara in excellent form.

The first session will give us the winner, methinks.

E: Also good to see Affly get his code on!

I was hoping it'd rain overnight and be hot this morning which is what made the ball talk yesterday, but it hasn't.

it cooled down significantly when NZ bowled, hence the lack of swing.

It's cool and breezy this morning so taking wickets won't be easy. I think we need Sodhi and Wagner to step up.

On a random note, teams pick bowlers (e.g 1 vs 2 spinners) for conditions all the time - why not batsmen? Guys like Dhawan would be picked on flat pitches, or at home, and we'd have some grafters who can at least get you some decent runs or see off the new ball overseas. I'm not sure if it would work, but it's worth a try.
