***Official*** India in England 2014

England had all the luck in this match though, especially with the toss.
Yeah I've come around to this point on the toss. At first I agreed with PEWS that it might even out, and whilst the pitch definitely kicked a bit and took turn on day 4 and day 5, in the end it had nowhere near the assistance to the bowlers compared to what was provided to England bowling first. Toss was a huge advantage.

Incredible that India won this test losing the toss and neither of Pujara or Kohli really contributing at all

Edit: Actually harsh on Pujara as he very much did contribute, just not in a way that gets remembered.

Pujara too. Gritty knock in the first innings.
Yeah true good point. I shouldn't say Pujara didn't contribute at all when he clearly did in both innings, just not in a dominating fashion, but definitely important to the victory.

Nah , Pujara played two pretty important innings. The first innings especially... 28 runs font look like much but he made the job easier for the lower order.

Edit: late as usual

No he isn't

I mean he's a better Test keeper than Prior, so in that respect he is, but nah, never cut the mustard as a keeper at the top level

IMO
He missed a few with a misunderstanding with Tres, happens to everyone. He really is a Test match 'keeper.

Went down to the ground today. God that was one of the most painful and pitiful experiences of my life. Every single dismissal was ****e but Prior's, Stokes' and Root's were borderline disgraceful. Can't believe I saw Ishant take 7-fer first hand and he even took Bhuvi's man of the match award.

Anybody else bracing themselves for (a) minimal changes (b) Bairstow, Morgan and others of that ilk
