Not giving the ball to Binny is seriously ****ed up captaincy from Dhoni. He can shove his personal differences with the board up his ass.

The first 100 runs partnership of the Test, right?. Howmany times does that happen on the fifth day? Makes me wonder England have a better shot than most would think.

**** that is seriously good batting by Root right there.
We knew he was going to be be good but he has that awful attribute of learning very quickly from his mistakes. Can't wait to see him next summer against your attack to see how far he has come.

If India lose this match I hope that Ishant gets carted for 100 out of the next 150 runs........I find him worse than Jade Dernbach

It's all set up for a classic "It's the hope that gets you", English finale, been here before, again and again.

I don't see how England aren't at the very least slight favourites now. 150 to get with the sort of tail England have doesn't look that intimidating. Especially with the pacers barely able to threaten the batsmen.

If we don't get 2-3 quick wickets with the new ball we'll lose.
How about because Moeen looks dodgy as **** against Jadeja bowling into the rough, the bounce is increasingly uneven and the new ball is about 5 overs away.

The only worry after Ali and Root for India is Plunkett.

Stokes can't buy a run and Prior is shot to bits.

Maybe should have done this earlier. Root was looking fantastic and this over he's looked really uncomfortable.

Another thing I love about Joe Root. If he needs to take a hit he will. He gets his bat and gloves out the way, wears it, and then smiles. Not many blokes could break their thumb as badly as he did, bat on, and make a ton. He's like a better, younger version of Paul Collingwood.

So now the question is will it be Shami and Bhuvi pitching it up with the new ball after lunch, or Ishant banging it in?
