Umm I'm not happy, the women have been really consistent and this was a bit of a shocker. There's definitely stuff about watching this cricket which reminds you of cricket of an earlier age. England v India, 5th Investec Test, The Oval, 3rd day : MS Dhoni quiet on future as Test captain | Cricket News | England v India - Investec Test Series | ESPN CricinfoWhen asked if some of the players, handpicked as India's Test future, could maybe give up the IPL and work on their Test game, Dhoni shot back: "Don't be jealous of the IPL." It says a lot that a man who hardly ever says an emotional thing in press conferences, no matter how dire the circumstance, loses a bit of control of his emotion when a finger is pointed at the IPL.
Haha yeah. IPL will come and we will all go bonkers about some players regaining their form and some great young players arriving on the big stage. They're mentally weaker than England. Yeah, they really should. I don't think there's a single player who returned from a county stint and went "Well, that was a waste of time". I hope Pujara continues sucking at T20 so he gets let off by his franchise at some point. On Sky's verdict Shastri wasn't particulalry amused that the likes of Pujara and Kohli don't get an opportunity to play County Cricket.
