I can sort of understand it. Bat till after lunch and lead will be 150-200 and we will be totally in command. Bat stupidly today and lose early wickets and new ball could clean up tail and lead is only 100.

Yeah, but the weather and the outfield, just don't see much play beyond today. Anyway looks like the new ball will bring runs.
