Concerns may now be raised about Pujara's consistently poor form away from India. This dismissal just makes his record worse. For someone tipped as one of India's best Test batsmen far and away, this is alarming. The team has already lost one opening batsman to poor form. Will they lose him too?

There is a serious player management crisis in the Indian side, which has been masked by revolving-door selections and Dhoni's inflexibility and support for his inner circle.
Still a bit premature to judge Pujara that harshly. The guy was awesome in South Africa, failed in two tests in new Zealand and has had a couple of ordinary dismissals here. Played ok in the first two tests but the fact that he wasn't able to cash in has affected him a bit mentally imo.

Yeah this is exactly what I was thinking too.
The only difference between that bowling and this is that they were up against Dravid and Laxman, who was able to play late, leave well and survive (only just). Kohli and Pujara aren't as good as they are yet, and hence they were exposed. And Gambhir is Gambhir.

I just remember Broad repeatedly getting absolutely vicious bounce from a good length and Dravid, having gone to defend, bail out as if trying to avoid getting shot.

How the **** did Kohli go from leaving like a champ in South Africa to a complete numpty in this series?
India are paying the price for dropping Kohli in 2011 for Raina during the England tour. I am dead serious about this too.

Kohli failed against WI the series before and Raina did well. But Kohli had to be on that tour and experience English conditions. Instead he wasn't even in the squad and was never exposed.

Sure Kohli hadn't been to SA before but still, play your future when they are that talented ffs

Jimmy Anderson just appealed for LBW when he got hit for 4. And it was a legitimate appeal too. Pad first

Ok I don't watch the match because I'm busy but WTF just happened?
Dhoni won the toss & decided to bat in typical Manchester conditions. He looked relieved! And Cook would have batted first too. But Anderson & Broad have since then bowled super swing deliveries nearly every ball.

FMD this is just top line bowling. Sure India haven't played it magnificently but if this bowling isn't appreciated and instead its lolndia talk all day, it will be disappointing. England deserve full credit.

Broad has swung it but it's really the bounce which is giving batsman problems from his end.
