Ouch, and I got called a wuss by Matt yesterday as well.Gutless TBH.
Yeah, I'd agree. I think that's the way they'll go and I think it's the right move, too, even though I don't rate Harbhajan as much as most.Anyway...
Tony Grieg was of the opinion that India play five bowlers for Adelaide, he suggested dropping Jaffer and get Dravid to open and play Bhajji.
So it would be:
Sehwag
Dravid
Laxman
Tendulkar
Ganguly
+Dhoni
Pathan
Kumble
Harbhajan
RP Singh
Sharma
Reckon you'd want Hayden in for Rogers as wellNah, keep the same side for mine. Don't want Dravid opening and might as well keep Jaffer after persisting with him till now. Don't ruin a winning thing for mine.
Hogg for Tait is the only change I'd make to the Australian line-up.
Hayden for Rogers?Nah, keep the same side for mine. Don't want Dravid opening and might as well keep Jaffer after persisting with him till now, it's not ideal but it's better than Dravid opening. Don't ruin a winning thing for mine.

50/50 call for me.Reckon you'd want Hayden in for Rogers as well
You have a thing for men in glasses?50/50 call for me.
People with glasses think its bigger than it isYou have a thing for men in glasses?
Wanting the forum to be sanitized then. Not much wrong with the two statements you quoted. A bit offensive but that's been seen here in the past. Only reason stuff similar to that was unacceptable around the 2nd Test was the heated tension.Again, bemused as to how this is acceptable...

Haha didn't really think of it as a change as he was always pencilled in for Adelaide anyways.Hayden for Rogers?
I sort of agree with that. And dropping Jaffer weakens the batting a little (even if, admittedly, he has done little of note so far) and makes the tail just a little too long. My only qualm is that it is Adelaide which traditionally favours batsmen (iirc) and slow bowlers (although that said, Indias last win there was built on some fine swing bowling from Agarkar). Jaffer, I think, from what little I have seen of him, seems at times to step a little too far across the stumps in his initial movements and so loses sense of the location of his off stump. If he gets that right, imo he has the makings of a perfectly decent opening batsman.Nah, keep the same side for mine. Don't want Dravid opening and might as well keep Jaffer after persisting with him till now, it's not ideal but it's better than Dravid opening. Don't ruin a winning thing for mine.
Call it soccer again........I have no interest whatsoever in soccer, so was unaware of that.
If Rogers got a score, I would have retained him. He didn't score any either so you really couldn't justify dropping Jaques.Haha didn't really think of it as a change as he was always pencilled in for Adelaide anyways.
But ftr, I'm still so upset at Jaques that I'd consider letting Rogers stay instead of him at Adelaide. I know it's not right as he's earned the spot with a terrific FC career as well as a great start in Tests, but far out some of those shots were stupid.
I think you (Prince) made an excellent post a hundred pages or so ago, that he's gotten to complacent and has to go back and start grafting and grinding runs again like against SL.
I guess we got it mate....Can we just get rid of aussie_26 please?
