Well, I for one feel The Little Master may be passed it. But Sehwag not playing was a joke. I really feel for Dravid - being pigeonholed to open. If you aren't an opener, you shouldn't be doing it....and, the BCCI have basically told him, "open or nothing".
Not a nice way to treat an ex captain..
Agreed 100%

I wouldn't drop Yuvraj yet. I never thought him as Test player, and I certainly don't now, but he has performed consistently for a long time in other formats and he needs to get a consistent run in the Test team. If he goes this whole tour without any contributions, or improvements, then I would drop him. But I think he deserves a chance. I think he'll be a failure at this level, but as I said, he has been consistent for a while now in ODIs and should get the chance.
If Symonds is going to cop some flak, then i think Yuvraj even more guilty of being a 'flat track bully'. I would drop him tbh and put Dravid at 3. Bring in the dasher to open and I think apart from fielding the side will look a lot better

Personally, I'd select Sehwag, move Dravid back to 3, and drop/moveto opener Ganguly - the latter may be scoring runs (and might score a heap more in this game) but he's about the worst fieldsman in world cricket, not in the same class as Dravid or Sehwag as a batsman and simply cannot be allowed to pick and choose where he bats.
Ganguly has been close to India's best batsman in the test - dropping him would be criminal.

Um, I didn't say our bowling is exceptional. I said its stronger than our batting. Taking 17 Aussie wickets has been more than a lot of other sides have done in Australia lately.
Its not like they have picked 17 Australian wickets on a pitch that was great for batting or something, the pitch had something in it for the spinners from Day 1 and this pitch was more like Indian pitch in nature (with the lack of pace and carry) which suited Indian style of bowling, so it would be interesting whether the Indian team can repeat these sort of bowling efforts through the rest of this series.

Hogg gets Harbhajan out again this time with a good swift piece of fielding, and lol at Harbhajan's reaction and shake of the head as if he was gonna hit triple century or something.

Great effort from George to get rid of someone like Ganguly whole is a superb player of spin in both the innings.

Well done from Punter here to allow Johnson and Hogg finish this off. Lee and Clark are the 2 who really destroyed the Indians but to keep the confidance of both high as let them bowl at the right times. Punter has also rotated his bowlers supurbly through the heat, though India's effort has let him do it without stress.
