Still can't believe India took the gas so bad. As was noted, possibly the most comical last half hour of a match from both teams in the past year or two.

The collapse was infuriating to say the least. It made me really angry, so I can imagine how the players themselves must be feeling.

What was that innings from Jadeja?

2 runs a ball needed and he is trying to run the ball down to 3rd man repeatedly so as to get 10/11 on strike - truly pathetic

Going to the game on Saturday. The forecast seems worse every time I look at it but it still seems like most of the rain will be before the game at least, so hopefully it doesn't disrupt things too much.

This has to be the most predictable, boring series ever. A clean sweep looms large unless rain intervenes. India can't put up enough runs on the board, can't chase down the target either. If they bat first, Aussies should declare their innings at 45 overs to give India a chance. Conversely, if they bat second, they should send in their usual #10 and #11 as "night watchmen" at #3 and #4 ahead of regular batters.

4 zip up but I'm hoping someone can put a zip on Mark Taylor. Apparently on such a dead pitch you need to be either real fast or real slow to get wickets. He then cherry picked an example and lapdog Brayshaw panted in agreement. Yet despite the lifeless Manuka pitch we saw one team bowled out and the other nearly so, and 16 of the 18 wickets falling to bowlers that were neither spinners or capable of bowling at Tait like speed. Maybe there's still merit in having a balanced bowling attack and there's room for all types of bowlers after all.
