yeah by all means give raina a tonk because it's ****ing raina, but these two should in theory still have enough time to get hundreds if they want themdon't mind the big shots to force the field back though

I love Rahane but I still don't think he'll end up as good overall as Smith or Kohli. As you said the start of his innings are just bonkers and I can't see him getting through that initial phasa as often as the others. I'd love it to happen, because he's blockbuster entertainment but I doubt someone that streaky at the start of the innings will go on a great run averaging 60-65 odd for several years like I can see with Kohli and Smith. When those two start batting they sometimes look completely impenetrable... With Rahane he looks like he could get out next ball but you don't want him to even if he's playing for the opposition.EDIT: Maybe not Rahane given the nutcase way he starts, but he's arguably the best of the four discounting that. All the shots, all the gears, impeccable technique.
Well I mean if you want evidence that **** starters can still be godlike batsmen I give you one Clarke, Michael.I love Rahane but I still don't think he'll end up as good overall as Smith or Kohli. He's going to be plenty of people's favourite batsman though which is probably more important anyway.
you haven't seen mineBurns might have some of the most rigid wrists I've seen in a while
Few alarming similarities to Watto IMO.Burns might have some of the most rigid wrists I've seen in a while
Seems to camp on the back foot a lot, unlike Watto.Few alarming similarities to Watto IMO.
Not at all imo. Stays back lots and pretty leg side of the ball. More likely to never get out lbw than to become and lbw joke like good ol' shane.Few alarming similarities to Watto IMO.
Watto nicks off a hell of a lot more than he gets out LBW these days actuallyNot at all imo. Stays back lots and pretty leg side of the ball. More likely to never get out lbw than to become and lbw joke like good ol' shane.
I think Burns will nick off a lot but not in the same way watto does.Watto nicks off a hell of a lot more than he gets out LBW these days actually
shallow bastard. It's probably the bat manufacturer to be honest.
Can't see how batting for 5 days could benefit Australia tbf.Wish 1 of the comms would stop the declare talk and say that India don't deserve to bat if they can't take wickets.
lbrh him batting cleanskin was one of the best things about that knockRemember how Slazenger dumped Clarke just before his Sydney triple? Made an incredible call by getting Smith on before the 2013 Ashes.
for a 25 year old in his 2nd test i reckon there's enough there to see at least a serviceable test batsman in the makingSeems to camp on the back foot a lot, unlike Watto.
Early days but ehhhhhhhhhh I dunno.
