i hope that was henriques and cummins last odi. both were atrocious.

Lol @ last ODI for Cummins. I haven't seen a fast bowler who can bowl 150K not get belted once in a while. But he shouldn't be playing in the WC games if the other are fit imo. He has still got a way to go to be a top bowler at this level.

honestly don't feel it was a stupid shot - if he was in form. he's played a couple of good innings recently but largely struggled, and his issues seem to be more with internalising how his game takes shape if he isn't absolutely humming. He'll come good and play lots of cricket for Australia in all three forms I feel. These are necessary trials for him

current econ ave is 5.91/over
thats too expensive for an opening bowler.
he isnt even in a 3rd choice team, anyone that expensive shouldnt get picked

gurinder should be the first alternative on the team sheet, because of economy.

Cummins is going to be a strike bowler anyways. They tend to have her economy rates.

Anyways, they should get some games to Johnson and Hazlewood now if they can. They need some time out there. I also had no idea Hazlewood had already made his ODI debut like 5 years ago.

Australia didn't habe their best team today they were virtually assured a place in the final anyway but now it's all sealed up.

From our point of view we clearly need improvements and there are a couple of changes I would make but our fate is in our hands, we are 3 wins away from claiming the triangular series, we are capable of it we know that, it's just a question of improving our level and executing our skills.
