***Official*** India and England in Australia ODI Tri-Series 2015

This is where we should point out that Bhuvi attempted a yorker there, got it slightly wrong and got smashed through cover. It's a really small margin for error delivery which batsmen are setting themselves up to counter; that's why it's rarer in the modern ODI game.
No it's not it's because of modern bat technology.

bailey's lack of form suggests he should be dropped from the team entirely. he is a completely useless player nowadays.

Yeah I'm a fan of bailey but goddamn he has not been able to do anything right for awhile now.
the timing of his form slump (since his tests) makes it easy to suggest that he's been found out at international level but i think it's cause he always sucked. right guys?

No reason why it can't be both
Yeah but come on, there's a reason why guys like Rohit and Dhoni are able to deposit yorkers 1 inch away from the blockhole 15 rows back. It's not as if batsmen didn't shuffle all over the crease in the death overs 10 years ago.

There I just turned a joke into serious discussion

India didn't get enough runs. Seamers handed out freebies early on. That was the difference. Only person that concerns me is Dhawan, out of form in tests and today he made the same error verus Starc which I wrote about before the game. Flashy drive to an out swinger. He has been in Australia all this time and still not learning.

I think Rohit and Rahane should open if Dhawan's form continues. Kohli at 3 and Dhawan/Rayadu at 4 in the middle overs

Possibly need Ishant back from injury to replace Yadav. Yadav can take wickets but gives a boundary ball per over maybe over. Ishant less likely to take wickets up front but more disciplined.

Disgrace that Bhuvi is made to bowl at the death when you have two quicks in Shami and Yadav. They should be firing in quick yorkers and varying it. Bhuvi doesn't have the pace and you can sweep him or use your feet or go back in your crease much more easily. Bhuvi is class but ideally should not be used at the death.

Certainly been found out by spin. Always get uncomfortable when he has to play against spinners.

I didn't see batsmen back then drink 4 litres of milk a day like Dhoni does.

The shoddy carpenter blames his tools.

I've made this exact post in the death bowling thread so we don't disagree.

Who found him out though? He dominated in India 2013. Pakistan?
I'd say from the IPL through to zimbabwe and the pakistan. He always look terribly uncomfortable against spin.

In fact he got out to spinners A LOT in zimbabwe.

For an Indian Cricket team what you saw today was unacceptable, we know that and have plenty of time to improve. From 185-3. We should have been eyeing 300 plus but some careless batting stopped us from reaching that kind of score.

Rohit was brilliant he is proving that he can open in any conditions, another positive was Patel's bowling he built up great pressure and stifled the Aussies the pressure he created almost got us back into the match.

Patel fired some in almost at 110 kmph, if he scores runs in this series he may put serious pressure on Jaddu/Ashwin :D
