jesus that's gone so far considering he barely tried to hit that hard at all

It's funny because I'm 90% sure that would've been a series where beforehand everyone couldn't help but talk about how pointless it was.
it was pointless but that actually contributed to making it so good. whatever happened was glorious fun, regardless of who did it

Oh maxwell please pull your head in a bit and go to the 40th and get a century. Or get out at 90 like you usually do. Still have so much more to do.

and I mean it was still utterly pointless. but **** me if it wasn't entertaining
Tbf, they just split the 2013 test and ODI tours, which I usually think is better, because it devotes more interest to the ODI's, but it leads to more people saying they're pointless as well.

that probably says something about the inherent value people place in bilateral ODIs though

Yeah, but when they're on the back of tests people who don't like ODI's just except them and show little interest. When they're on their own it tends to provoke more anger.

overpacked schedules probably have to do with that

Looking back at that 7th ODI it's hard to imagine ever thinking Australia had a chance at any stage of the game. But we all did because the series was that surreal.

i definitely remember posting that we would have ran the total down with ease had we not so many wickets up top

I love the positions maxwell's wrists end up sometimes. People say smith is a wristy player but I'd say that maxwell relies more on his wrists than smith.

This sweeped six to fine-leg of fast bowlers has really been in fashion these days..

275 still on here.

he needs to stop moving around. his eye is so good and he hits it so ****ing hard that he can just stand there and hit out rather than dancing around
