was such an entertaining series, it's been over a year and i still can't get over it. the easy 350 chase by india, faulkner hitting sharma around, the last odi. just the best but so surreal

we were nowhere near chasing that, needed 44 off the last 3 overs and voges was just knocking it around. shame people remember faulkner in brisbane more than in that series, that innings and the ton in the last match were gun as

The best thing about that series was that no matter what happened in the first 10/15 overs the final 30 just disappeared at over eight an over.

well yeah. regardless all three knocks were gun, but i reckon channel 9 should've made a bit more of an effort to show that it wasn't a once off. although now faulkner's a "finisher" if he hits 6* so whatever

that wasn't why it was the best match, d00d. Ashwin and the Indian side effectively bullied the umpiring into changing his decision over a wide delivery.

Ashwin to Voges, no run, looks to reverse-sweep once more, down the leg side, called a wide, in fact the umpire has now changed his mind, decides that is not a wide, Shamsuddin having a horror day out there, that was a huge wide

It was some noob umpire who called a wide down legside and then Ashwin and Dhoni stared at him and he reversed his decision. Something like that

Highlights of that series is the sort of stuff they should show during rain breaks. A great series that will be hardly seen again because there's some Ashes game on tape instead.

Last time we had a FTA live international was 05. And I'm not sure we're even getting full WC highlights, might just be England and Scotland games.
