Rachin not playing as they’ve decided to play the no hoper Gavin Larsen special. Might as well let him play first class cricket if you’re not going to play him here.

btw I think I’d take Rutherford over Worker when it comes to the World Cup.

Is neither an option?

decent World Cup audition so far from Neesham for number 6, and Seifert for reserve keeper-batsman

rachin should be playing every game we can put him in

worker isn't winning us any world cups. he can come home to cd and win us stuff

Heard one of the commies saying Rachin is under weather. I'd like to think he'll be most games if fit enough.

Pretty good Indian batting line up that. The Gill lad looks a serious batsman. One to watch out for in future.

Noticeable how every India A batsman struck at a SR of ~100 - and they were always on top of the required rate and got the 300 easily. NZ A's batsmen had some early momentum too with Rutherford but Worker, Young and Anderson weren't able to keep up with that rate and then got out.

Bit of tap for Ferguson and gave away 6 wides, though a nice bowled.

Ravindra playing today, back on Sky too. These commentators are alot better, Radiosport + Jason Hoyte and Tarun Nethula. They have a lot more in depth knowledge of the second tier players + past results, seems like Ian Smith and Riga hardly reflect on the past and have no intimate knowledge of the Blackcaps, let alone new guys in the side.

The stream-ing coverage on the NZC website is really good, apart from some sort of helicopter-circling-the-oval background noise.

young looks great today. if he tons up again he'll earn the much lusted after prize of flem274* calling for his international selection ahead of a player he doesn't like every post

also we really need to open with rachin instead of burying him in the order. rutherford isn't a realistic world cup player and corey anderson isn't a #4 either

There's been the odd tour match streamed before, like WI's warmup last time they toured, however this time they have proper score displays and commentators. Suspect it's because of the India market.

Great when an earmarked player steps up to a level noticeably above what they were previously - so far this season, Will Young, Nathan Smith, Blair Tickner.

Boy that's a real 'four feet on the gas pedal, modern game, post 350 or go home' brainwave that one from Seifert, when your side's just spent eight overs crashing from 200/1 to 226/4.

Corey Anderson gifting India A that first bang-bang strike to turn the tide, too.
