Scotland seem to be going well against Australia, even as they have lost a few recent wickets.

Hangargekar may get fast tracked. Solid lower order hitter & a 140+ kph bowler. May get a good IPl deal as well in coming month.

Nagarkoti and Mavi are still only "promising" and Kartik Tyagi is not even that. :(
Tyagi was with Indian test team in Australia I think. He is tier above Kotti & Mavi. Kotti has fallen away & lost Pace since injury & looking to be a batting A/R now. Mavi is doing well but not enough to beat Prasidh & Avesh.

Hangargekar looks like Pandya level with the bat with better range & good Pace as well. That skill set is rare in Indian set up. Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be a Dube. We will definitely see him in IPl this year

Can't be long before we see Teague Wyllie in the Shield, surely? Pretty impressive numbers at YODI/U19 level given he's only 17.

Catching some highlights now. Ireland U19 have an Afghanistan-born seamer haha, and 16 year old Angkrish Raghuvanshi looks the goods, hope he's not lost to the system.

Geez Hanga hits a long ball.

Some promising young cricketers...and damn some of these teenagers are tall. Looking at some of the English, Aussies, Pakistanis and Kiwis...whats going on here? Or is it just the improvement in nutrition?

Two new batsmen in and 42 required off 44

Nerves of steel needed. Still anyone’s game
Sri Lanka squeezed home in the end, they look a very talented side this year.

Proud of our guys, they very nearly qualified from the group of death without their captain and second best bat (Auguste), new ball bowler (Layne) and two best spinners (Mahase and Amory). It's strange because even though they didn't qualify I saw more than enough in individuals to see there is a lot to work with.

Cricket WI mustn't make the same old mistake with their pathway for these youngsters though. They need to play FC cricket and List A cricket, not wait until they are 25 to play a few FC games like the winning 2016 side.
