Congrats to india on the win. Wish I’d kept across this tourney more, didn’t really see any of it aside from news highlights for whatever reason.

What are the general thoughts on the place play offs?
Can’t say I’m a fan tbh but I suppose it’s more cricket
I think it's a good thing at this level; the actual competitive part of the tournament doesn't really matter that much, it's far more important that all these youngsters get exposure to their peer competitors who they'll likely be playing against at international level.

I certainly cared more about seeing the talents for Aus than being especially bothered about how they did in the tournament competitively, beyond the basic winning > losing

I think I'd add being in a proper professional setup, touring other countries, facing unfamiliar conditions, bit of media exposure etc along with that. It's great learning.
