I still think England declared too late if they had maybe a 150 lead they could of had aus 7-8 down with an extra 90 minutes
I’d rather that than the generic **** we often get.Every Bairstow interview is like when Father Ted gives his speech when he wins the Golden Cleric award and uses it to air his grudges.
You are not winning enough for this to be true. This is a C grade attack- no specialist spinner
Ifs and buts though - entertaining enough?I still think England declared too late if they had maybe a 150 lead they could of had aus 7-8 down with an extra 90 minutes
for once English fans will have a big yarn About how crap the weather is over there if that happensIf this turns out to be a draw, it will be so hollow for both teams. Australia retaining the Ashes in the most undeserving way and England missing out on the story arc/destiny with bazball and Stokes. Not to mention completely ruining the final test
Love it if happens
You can't even if you want toNothing works in England these days , so don’t bank on any forecast becoming reality
remember also that in England at this time of year , it can stay light enough for play beyond 9pm
If it happens and I feel England are looking unstoppable then a win at the oval is on and that would leave the Aussies with no win in england since 2001If this turns out to be a draw, it will be so hollow for both teams. Australia retaining the Ashes in the most undeserving way and England missing out on the story arc/destiny with bazball and Stokes. Not to mention completely ruining the final test
Love it if happens
if you could play that late everywhere we would never have over rate issuesNothing works in England these days , so don’t bank on any forecast becoming reality
remember also that in England at this time of year , it can stay light enough for play beyond 9pm
We shall see , there maybe a clause paragraph 27 sub section 3 that we canYou can't even if you want to
And you blokes won’t have had the urn for like 10 years until the next ashes in Australia. So what’s worse? If it happens and I feel England are looking unstoppable then a win at the oval is on and that would leave the Aussies with no win in england since 2001
so the careers of most of this lot will never see an ashes win in England
I can live with that completely satisfied
One of those things really. Home teams at the level of Australia. England, India and New Zealand are the normAnd you blokes won’t have had the urn for like 10 years until the next ashes in Australia. So what’s worse?
Probably has been but I also reckon Lyon’s injury was key as wellHave there been two players who have brought such an impact to a team as woakes and wood have?
These two completely changed the course of the England Team.
a drawn series feels like a damn loss for both sides right now. Especially if rain hits this one out for England and also because aus was 2-0 up. Absolutely no one here is celebrating a damn rain led out draw for this test if it happensOne of those things really. Home teams at the level of Australia. England, India and New Zealand are the norm
a drawn series is fine by me. I spent 20 odd years never expecting to win an ashes series home or away
has the bloke ever given a series prediction that wasn’t 5-0 lolAnd as an aside McGrath was totally wrong again
5-0. I mean laughable
