What’s the over rate now? Has to be horrible
They said earlier today the Aus over rate yesterday was fractionally better than England’s, like 12.4 vs 12.2 or something. Was surprised to hear that given the state of the game

This is just Stokes being gunshy now. Declaration wouldn't be a bad choice now actually, given the forecast and the fact that you almost have a 200 ****ing run lead. Even 30, 40 odds runs ago would have been miles better than the 1st Test declaration decision.
Actually, change my mind on this. England are scoring very quickly even by their own standards. Can't blame Stokes for this, even if the game does get washed out. Good captaincy overall, and learning from previous errors.
