There were a few leading questions being asked before they blocked that line, though.
There was a bit of the "if Australia bowl well you never know" type stuff and Healy bringing up variable bounce a bunch but overall I think they were pretty critical of the batting.

Got it on mute, but it looks like slats is talking about needing to be more circumspect in those conditions. Srs mate? You would have either been out in the first over or else hit 15 boundaries in the first hour!

I mean, they did say that, but you're completely misrepresenting their meaning. If Warne says "you can never judge a pitch until both teams have batted and bowled on it, but this certainly isn't a pitch you make 50 on", which is more or less what he said, it's pretty disingenuous to read that as him saying the pitch is a minefield and Australia batted fine. Slater said more or less the same thing, that 50 odd certainly wouldn't be enough and Australia batted poorly.
I was saying that Healy went in that direction, before Warne and Slats chipped in with that and changed the conversation a little. Healty was going off on the pitch like he always does when Australia gets bowled out. He did the same when Australia got 98 all out in the MCG test in 2010. He was saying the groundsmen had done the MCG tradition and the crowd a disservice.

Probably a fair comment. England fans were equally within their rights to complain about the pitch prepared at Lord's this time.

What even is this series.

2 day finish on the cards.

Maybe we can have an ODI instead of the 5th Test, ala the Women's Ashes.

People think groundsmen have way more control than they actually do, particularly when it's been raining
