Will be a tough one but root does spin the ball wellAli not looking happy warming up. Can Root take on the frontline spinner role? Its a huge ask for him
I think he took a few in India on a turning pitch

I see what you did there. Very good indeed.Close enough. Hope it's half as good as that finish.
Overall it's 315 for England vs West Indies 1986What's the highest Test innings score without any player scoring a 50?
Cant see Ali bowling many with that damaged finger, anyone else in the team that can bowl - Brook excludedWill be a tough one but root does spin the ball well

GS Kohli is the third best poster here and he posts scores all the time. So I follow him.Do not mention the score
it’s not the done thing on here I’m being told
no numbers allowed
I think I saw Crawley once bowl terrible leg spin.Cant see Ali bowling many with that damaged finger, anyone else in the team that can bowl - Brook excluded
Yeah, couldn't pay me to watch that. This "Warnie" biopic Nine are hawking really does look awful.

Kind of agree, but I think the weather will be more conducive tomorrow for helping the seamers. I think the Aussies need to have 120 on the board tonight. It is enthralling test cricket. Has been all match. Gut feeling is that England are about 40 runs short but who knows? Also tomorrow's forecast has improved, if Aus bat the time they win.
Good stats. Do I say it ?Overall it's 315 for England vs West Indies 1986
Gower top score of 47 ..
In Ashes Cricket it is 279 by Australia in 2005 , which so happened to be at Edgbaston..
When Brett Lee was left stranded on 43 not out as England won by 2 runs .
Three bowlers with similar style - short of good length, hit the deck bowling can get predictable and easier for batsmen to read. Having someone who can pitch it up and swing it at high pace adds variety and unpredictability. One of the great cricketing myths continues to persist.
I think England really need James Anderson to come to the party here ...Will Anderson take the new ball though? He didn't in the first inningsKind of agree, but I think the weather will be more conducive tomorrow for helping the seamers. I think the Aussies need to have 120 on the board tonight.
The myth is that Starc is particularly good at the tail, he isn't (on the other hand, the idea that Starc is just a tailbasher is equally a myth).Three bowlers with similar style - short of good length, hit the deck bowling can get predictable and easier for batsmen to read. Ball change at 0.0 overs. Bazball has peaked! How can they have issues with the ball before it's even been bowled
