Afternoon mate, been trying to register since Saturday. Finally got help via email today.
Fantastic. Great to see that avatar again. We had a good chat going about Durham elsewhere on the forum about yesterdays match

the more Durham and safc lads the better on here

you can edit thread titles if you make a mistake as well.

this game is getting tight now for England , we need another fifty or so

I remember in '85 Wayne Phillips crunched a ball into the deck and it bounced up, hit Gower's shin at silly point and was given caught
I remember it well, it actually hit Gower straight on the foot, so it was out but there's no way the umpire could have been sure of that so shouldn't have been given out.

IIRC last time he was here he bounced the tail out mercilessly almost every time.
Problem is that Robinson is expecting it

Not to mention that we lost a series against India because our quicks went bouncer crazy against the lower order

Just bowl normally as they’re tailenders for a reason

International Debutant
Not over yet by a long chalk
Yes indeed so , history does tell us this..

Australia have only won 28 of the 158 test matches where they needed 200 runs or more in the 4th innings, with 50 draws and 79 defeats .

In England they have successfully chased a 200 run target twice in their history :

1.404/3 v England @ Headingley 1948 (Australia's highest ever run chase in Test Cricket)

2.242/5 v England @ Kennington Oval 1972

Great Stats. Cheers, this is going to be a cracker finish

It must be Lyon’s bounce which troubles Moeen because there’s no other reason I can think of as to why he looks so bad against him. It’s Ponting- Harbhajan levels of ugly when he faces him
