May not have the best average or convert the most hundreds, but no one in the world makes batting look as easy as Joe Root atm. Seems to have so much time it's not even funny.
Very good on the eye test.
Conversion rate has been outstanding for the last 2-3 years.

He's clearly not, because he's on the field.
Starc is on the field because Hazlewood is off it. Which might be concerning, because Australia might desperately need him to be bowling. Cummins continues.

cricinfo source- is it wrong? Or is he back on the field..he's only bowled 2 overs which is unusual.

England has traditionally had a third man a lot more than Aus does, primarily because the wickets are usually slower there so there's more scored on the glide/ late cut.
Directly behind the keeper though. That is unique imo. I know about fine third man but directly behind in a straight line
