Anyone else found this underwhelming? Aus could have done so much damage in that first session. England get 300+ and they have done well.

Crass cricket all round. Aus bowled poorly before lunch but still had twice as many wickets as they should have had. Since then we've just reverted to what we did for most of the last 18 months and tried to hand them the initiative with a string of gimme dismissals. They won't learn though. 1989 anyone?

Poor shot there from Trott, quite uncharacteristic from him. Credit must go to Siddle though, he's bounced back incredibly well from his first spell.

Why twice as many? Surely you have to give some credit to the bowlers, particularly with Root's dismissal.
