*Official* First Test at the Gabba

England will need to come out all guns blazing after lunch,if the quicks can keep it tight, like they did in the second half of the morning session and get Swanny ripping it from the other, wickets should come.Even though I would of liked to see a few more wickets,it's a very good game so far.

Reckon they need to keep it tight, myself. Gabba is flattening out and if you bust a gut going for the knockout ball, you'll give plenty of runs to two guys who've scored plenty of runs at the ground. Patience from the key from here.

Was nervous for Ponting when he came in, but he looks settled now. Surprising Anderson bowled really well at the end, but I doubt he can keep it going all through the day.

Our batsmen hopefully would find their form, or we will not reach 300.
I'm going to still be nervous until he hits a pull shot right out of the middle. I'm always nervous when he faces spinners as well.

oh what a way to get Punter out! Not great to see a great player depart like that but i'll take it :)

Is there an opening here?

Awesomeness.

For how well Anderson's bowled since he came back from his first spell thats a bit of a anticlimax to get him like that.
