If it wasn't just before tea when he bowled he may have been smashed in his 2nd spell. Can't help but feel sorry for the guy, something everyone dreams of, playing for your country and he has just frozen.

Anderson definitely does to some degree; Broad really messed with the footwork of both Warner and Clarke. Rogers just isn't very good at playing Swann though.

Rogers got out playing a nothing prod to Swann the ball after Broad roughed him up with a bouncer; reckon he owes him a little bit.

Yeah Lancashire don't pick him in limited overs cricket regularly; it's why so few of us have actually seen that much of him. Lancashire played a CC final a couple of years ago so I got a good look then but there doesn't seem to have been too much development in anything other than his reputation since that game. I mean, it's safe to assume he's usually a lot more accurate than this, but it's not even so much that he's bowling poorly (and he is) but that it's hard to imagine things being that much better for him even if he was landing it where he wanted.

Doesn't mean it's not a good pitch though. England's main bowlers have been very good (especially to Clarke) and Rogers+Smith aren't exactly the sort of batsmen who always look comfortable.

I remember a Lancs game at Blackpool or Liverpool on the box when they were redeveloping OT and it was a road with no bowler looking like getting a wicket. Most boring match I have seen. Might be that one he is on about.

It wasn't meant to be originally but they crossed to it for extended periods anyway on the third and fourth days because of the nature of it. I'm sure of it. Remember watching it.
