Nice to see that sort of performance from Curtis Jones. He teases this almost every season then gets injured.

So much talent and potential. I hope this is the year he realises it

Supporting Palace as long as I have done means I've seen, if memory serves, half a dozen relegations from the top flight. I'm not sure what's worse, the early years of the Premier League when our fate was sealed in the last game of the season, or those times like 1981 when we were pretty much gone by Easter. Probably the former, as gallows humour was an option with the latter, and it was over more quickly anyway. Plus you weren't buggered by the hope before the eventual kick in the guts. This year is frustrating because of how well they finished last season. We always knew that Olise would be badly missed, but you'd think that the rest of them would have stepped up rather more impressively than what we've seen so far. You'd also think that the new signings would have settled in better too. No doubt Glaser will get the blame, and there's already talk of sacking him and bringing in Moyes or Potter. Me, I'm inclined to bame the players and the prior evidence is that Glasner's a good 'un. But we all know how these things work.

Not just Olise but Anderson was an enormous loss too.

Agree it's on the players.. I think that's the risk of the recruitment/retention policy. There are players who had their heads turned in the summer and were up for sale who look disinterested now (e.g Eze, Guehi).

Yes, agreed on both counts. With respect to Fulham, the Anderson departure was odd; on the face of it, a sideways move.

Up to 8th after last night's win. A win on Friday night and we up to 5th.

Dizzying heights after growing up watching us finish 3rd in 1994/95 and hearing all the famous Clough tales. Must admit it feels good after so many dark years.

Got some real ballers now too.

Been really impressed by Murillo. Seriously good signing. Your scouts in Brazil don't seem to miss, Danilo is a gun too.

Glad Nuno has found a home. He doesn't play the most glamorous football but I like having him in the league.

He didn’t look convinced but was like sure why not.
Yeah not a pen but it is what it is.

Can't really blame ETH for the comedic finishing in the 1st half, but ultimately on paper it was an okish fixture list but they are 14th so yeah he has to go as this side is going absolutely nowhere.

The Dalot miss was quite funny tbf.

Man, I'm so disappointed with that performance. We simply didn't show up and I think that was our worst game of the season.

Humbling result cause I expected so much more with how we've been playing. Arsenal were really good to be fair, Partey totally locked down our left side and we couldn't control the ball in midfield. I really don't know what Macca was doing in there. They'll probably feel as if they should have won that but I think in reality after Gabriel went off there was only ever going to be one winner - so a draw was a fair result.

We're witnessing the decline of Robertson in front of our very eyes. Take nothing away from Saka (kid is a freak) but Roberston of a few seasons ago doesn't get rolled like that. Clear position we need to upgrade in the summer. Robbo right now reminds me of Fabinho - his legs are completely gone.

Both sides probably happy with the point considering the circumstances, just wish we had made a better account of ourselves cause they were there for the taking.
