Can’t believe VAR tried to disallow the City winner there, Silva just nowhere near the keeper.

Not just Olise but Anderson was an enormous loss too.Supporting Palace as long as I have done means I've seen, if memory serves, half a dozen relegations from the top flight. I'm not sure what's worse, the early years of the Premier League when our fate was sealed in the last game of the season, or those times like 1981 when we were pretty much gone by Easter. Probably the former, as gallows humour was an option with the latter, and it was over more quickly anyway. Plus you weren't buggered by the hope before the eventual kick in the guts. This year is frustrating because of how well they finished last season. We always knew that Olise would be badly missed, but you'd think that the rest of them would have stepped up rather more impressively than what we've seen so far. You'd also think that the new signings would have settled in better too. No doubt Glaser will get the blame, and there's already talk of sacking him and bringing in Moyes or Potter. Me, I'm inclined to bame the players and the prior evidence is that Glasner's a good 'un. But we all know how these things work.
Yes, agreed on both counts. With respect to Fulham, the Anderson departure was odd; on the face of it, a sideways move. Not just Olise but Anderson was an enormous loss too.
Agree it's on the players.. I think that's the risk of the recruitment/retention policy. There are players who had their heads turned in the summer and were up for sale who look disinterested now (e.g Eze, Guehi).
Been really impressed by Murillo. Seriously good signing. Your scouts in Brazil don't seem to miss, Danilo is a gun too.Up to 8th after last night's win. A win on Friday night and we up to 5th.
Dizzying heights after growing up watching us finish 3rd in 1994/95 and hearing all the famous Clough tales. Must admit it feels good after so many dark years.
Got some real ballers now too.
