Not forgetting how he'll also manage to get sent off within moments of coming onto the pitch, and then embarrass himself afterwards by passionately defending a teammate biting someone.
Yesssss. He had to warm up in front of the United fans for the first half and they were singing

You could have won the league
You could have won the league
You could have won the leeaaagueee...
But Gerrard ****ed it up

No wonder he cracked.

Also it was racist abuse that he defended. I think the biting came later.

Haha I had actually forgotten that incident. More great memories.

Loved the hilariously mis-judged "I'm backing Luis" t-shirts they proudly paraded around in for about a week before they realised the direness of what they were doing.

Now I have also just remembered the pages and pages of Ikki posts where he alleged that not only that Suarez did not make racist comments, it was literally physically not possible for him to have made them.

Oh man, Suarez provided some great memories as a player too.

In his prime he comfortably makes my top 5 players to ever grace the Premier League. What he did in 13/14 was special and is likely never repeated.

Grub of a human otherwise but he was equal fun to watch whether you loved or hated him

On an unrelated note, half-watched Liverpool play some random Belgium team.

I can't think of much worth noting other than an absolutely shocking miss from Darwin.

Other player that stood out was Gravenberch. The price tag for him is going to look a steal once he settles in properly, the kid is really really good.

Union's entire operation runs for 10m euros apparently. We probably have someone on the bench earning that much.

I remember when he scored the two goals that knocked England out of the 2014 world cup. I really didn't hate him for it. I just admired the fact that there was simply no way he was going to miss those chances, especially the second one when Cahill (I think) misheaded the ball backwards to put Suarez one-on-one with our keeper.

What about that goal at Watford in the championship which hit the net and bounced out but the ref thought it hit the advertising board and play carried on!
Something similar happened to Palace eons ago. Clive Allen's free kick flew into the goal and bounced back of the stanchion, so the idiot ref thought it had hit the post or cross-bar.

There was a similar incident in a Partick Thistle v Dundee Utd game in the early 1990s. Made doubly funny because a Partick Thistle defender actually caught the ball before handing it to the goalkeeper, only for the referee to wave play on having a) missed a perfectly good goal being scored and b) missing the fact that a defender caught the ball in the box.

Just the two goals for Bellingham today. Apparently he's the first player to score 10 goals in his first 10 appearances for Real Madrid since Ronaldo. But please don't ask me which one.

Palace lacking almost all of their creativity without Eze and Olise. Goals are likely to be at something of a premium for the time being. Still, it should be interesting to take a look at young Rak-Sakyi.

And I'd forgotten that Hudson-Odoi is at Forest now. Maybe being a regular side at a smaller club will kick-start his career.
