well ours were a goal that was immediately flagged so we barely even cheered, then VAR gave it. That was great. You get two celebrations though.
I agree with this generally and think it would be worth getting rid of VAR purely because of that. It's a cathartic, euphoric thing and it's better when it's untempered.Celebrating a goal is literally the greatest feeling in sport, it’s what makes football the king, and this nonsense ruins it.
Yeah, this as well.Have said it loads but goal line tech was all that was needed IMHO
Not as good as one proper one though. Was at the Everton game last week and our equaliser was one of those. The confirmation just feels more like relief than anything else for me.You get two celebrations though.
The VAR check to confirm the goal doesn't change the moment Lundstram put us 3-1 up against RB Leipzig. It's the greatest moment I've had at the ground as a fan.Not as good as one proper one though. Was at the Everton game last week and our equaliser was one of those. The confirmation just feels more like relief than anything else for me.
Opposition goals being ruled out is really fun though I have to admit.
Amusingly the funniest/grimest moment for Utd was when Cassimiro and Maguire came on and combined hilariously for the Maguire yellow card.I thought both teams looked good in different ways. One of the highest quality Utd vs Arsenal games in a while.
I’ve been impressed with Ten Hag’s in-game subs and tactical shifts. Acts early to make sure we’re fresh up top and can keep countering for the full game. Arteta kinda botched his.
