I thought all the big decisions were probably just about right. The Xhaka one was such a VAR pen though. In the good old days it never gets given but once you slow it down and see the shirt pull from every angle it’s hard to argue that it’s not a foul.

the frustrating bit is that ref deemed one incident "referable" (and then rightly gave it) but the other (comparable) incident wasn't even given a look

Yeah this is why I say they were screwed, both bad decisions by a bad ref.

Loved yesterday. Watched my lot beat Sheffield Wednesday who were actually pretty crapbar Barry Bannan who was about the only one who tried. Saido Berahino is a disgrace, has a huge gut and puts in no effort at all, not that I am complaining as it helped us win but I'd be fuming watching players like him go through the motions and pick up a big wage each week.

Ed Woodward finally going from United in April, he get's a lot of criticism, but I think most football fans will celebrate that he's turned United from consistent title winners and challengers, to a very profitable PLC who can't win for ****. What's not to like.
