Should be interesting, do you know what they're doing pitch wise and stadia-wise?
Sorry, missed your post at first. As LT said, the 3G pitch will need to go. No idea about the stadium. Gander Green Lane is basically a residential road with a small football ground in the middle of it, so I don't know what the locals will make of this. One rumour I heard this morning was that they might ground share with AFC Wimbledon, who are moving back to Plough Lane. That would suit me as I'm more interested in the colts side anyway. But I suspect that those in charge would love the idea of league football at GGL, which I can understand, so the ground share idea is probably a non-starter.

Just been looking at the mechanics of the new Europa Conference Cup. 32 teams in 8 groups with the 8 group winners going to the last 16 and 8 group runners up playing off against 8 teams dropping from the Europa League for the other 8 last 16 places. I’m in favour of different tiers of European trophies but the mixing and matching seems a little bonkers. At least it doesn’t appear as though you can fall from the CL to the third tier cup.

Pretty heartbroken but the real crime was the way we squandered autos. Going to be a long summer

Yeah, do think it's an anachronism though that should be sorted out, yes we know the old plastic pitches were appalling for football and pretty dangerous for players, but technology has moved on,and it would make so much more financial sense to put g in for a lot of clubs. Plus allow Yoof and Woman teams to play in the clubs main stadium, but ho-hum.

Edit, and whilst I was posting, the point eloquently made by David in simpler terms.
Yeah it’s pretty funny that there’s a rule that means every January most L2 clubs are playing on a worse and more dangerous surface than their own U10s.

Bad luck mate. But at least you can look forward to me buying you a cup of tea and a Mars Bar at Gander Green Lane next season.

Oh and Lillian Thomson's fave Michelle Owen is doing her first Prem match for Soccer Saturday today after seven years, I think it's all down to me nodding at her when I was a steward, when she was shadowing Glenn Murray, and being introduced to Tis.

Plastic pitches are ****ing shite. 3 teams this season in the SPFL have them and they just produce absolutely garbage football.

All for banning them.
