I am still not convinced Division 4 will start, I just don't see what will make it financially viable in August when it isn't now.I Love how League 2 decided to completely end the season, BUT we'll still have play offs, so they haven't actually ended the season have they?
The fly in the ointment will be if the relegated team, stevenage or macclesfield, don't have anywhere to play next year if the National League can't start.
What happens then.
Same with League 1 to be honest. If fans aren't allowed in then it seems pointless to start a new season unless there is some sort of financial package to help clubs.I am still not convinced Division 4 will start, I just don't see what will make it financially viable in August when it isn't now.
League 2 didn’t invent this. The EFL proposal was that if the season can’t be finished the tables will be decided on PPG with promotion, relegation and the Play Offs remaining in place. It’s the same in all three divisions. Leagues 1 & 2 voted to end now. The same could still happen in the Championship if the virus spikes again.I Love how League 2 decided to completely end the season, BUT we'll still have play offs, so they haven't actually ended the season have they?

Have never said this. Many are, mind. But I'll spare you my full serious response to your low grade troll post. ****Haha but I thought laws were stupid
The finest legal mind of our generation has spoken!Returning to the real world for a second, I doubt there'll be any legal action once the dust settles. A handful of teams are unhappy and with a different system a different handful might have been unhappy, but whether there's any legal malpractice I rather doubt.
Agree, really, look I understand the frustration, and Exeter haven't done that well out of all this, we were pretty much-guaranteed play-offs anyway with a live chance of autos. Just don't think it was financially viable to go on, we'd see many teams out of business.Returning to the real world for a second, I doubt there'll be any legal action once the dust settles. Fair enough. You may mock, but I've met Judge Pickles.
The problem here is Cov and the Slime would have probably gone legal if it had remained the same, and they have deeper pockets, both have already spunked tons of money up the wall. The EFL were ****ed whatever they did imho. Sorry GIMP but keeping clubs alive should be their priority, in my lowly opinion.Honestly have no idea what sort of legal proceedings we'd be pursuing and how strong our case would be, but we've been sacrificed because teams can't afford to play. It will cost us £1m going down, not to mention the significant investment we did in the squad in January that we'd have been better off keeping.
We will see I guess.
