You're probably right to exclude Newcastle from that list. Not convinced about Cardiff though.
Interesting view of Arsenal. Out of interest, why do you reckon they've been lucky?
Cardiff look fairly competitive to me, definitely better than Huddersfield or Fulham. They've had a lot of tough games. Sort of the opposite of Fulham though in that their players are shite so I can only really see them getting worse over the season.

Arsenal are a bit like United last year. Their opponents keep missing loads of really easy chances. Played well on Monday though.

I would be surprised if Fulham do not improve. Perhaps not to the extent required to stay up, but I have been surprised by their crapness so far.

Tbh it's been more on the attacking side cause we've still conceded 11 goals in 9 games.

Not sure if lucky/unlucky is the best terminology to use to get new people to buy into this kind of thinking either, but yeah, Arsenal basically weren't good in any of their first seven games, so they've been very fortunate/done very well for themselves to get 21 points from 9 games.

You occasionally see stupid but genius ideas in football. Apparently, Luis Suarez has just hit a free kick under the wall, but it hit a defender who was lying behind it in case that should happen. Will be great to see.

Looking good, but there is a long way to go.

The addition of Torreira is massive.
Being honest Arsenal are attacking well but what happens if they are put under pressure and on the defensive for long periods of time? They always seem to concede, and lack pace in central defence and Kolasinac has slowed down a lot. Great attacking options which Torreira fits in with well (as well as Guendouzi) but just feel when they play someone who can take them apart they may well be found wanting. Overall Arsenal are looking good but they need to sort out the defence come the next transfer window.

For a guy not very good at actually scoring goals, Özil produced some pretty amazing finishes from time to time.
He can score goals very well but just takes up positions to take second balls either out of the box or as a conduit to pass and assist other players.

Many football commentators have gone on record to state Huddersfield have a great chance to stay up, if we can score goals then we would be mid table. We have been considerably unlucky in most of our games so far.

Ha, yeah, it's not an especially glamorous job, despite the money that is no doubt in the club tbh.

Warnock teams are always the same though. Highly motivated but tactically inferior to almost every other team in the top division.
Warnock should be managing in the Championship. Still, if he survives he'll get that opportunity next season. If that's with Cardiff then who knows.

I think the City/Chelsea style more reliably dismantles weaker teams than anything that's been done before. Then Liverpool are just very good and Arsenal have been very lucky.

Huddersfield and Fulham are the only properly bad teams I've seen, and Fulham have the players to improve by a lot.
Have you seen Huddersfield this season? They have been incredibly unlucky the penalty against Liverpool ( I did say I didn't think it was but they have been given in other games and Alex's off side goal, a smidge offside). Fulham will capitulate.

Yeah the stat of him having as many goals as a sub in the last two games as Huddersfield all season was amusing.
You know how to hurt someone.

Not through lack of trying, Depoitre, Mounie and Mbenze are decent strikers and the goals will come this is a real bugbear with us at the moment considering the quality we can produce through Alex and Aaron. I also feel for Jonathon Hogg who smashed the post against Liverpool. We do have quality but we are still ver positive and Wagner is much respected
