So being realistic, where will he get the same wage then?

Of the English sides that could afford him I can only see Man Utd as an option but he could go abroad I guess but where?

Someone will have him, no doubt, even at the rate he's demanding (which would apparently make him the second highest paid player in the entire Premiership as things stand at the moment). Sad to see him go, but he just isn't worth that sort of money for mine.

Ramsey talks supposedly broke down because he wasn't offered the same wages as Ozil. I guess I sympathise with him, but he's just not that good.
According to Ornstein:

A new + improved 4yr contract was recently agreed between Arsenal & Aaron Ramsey. But #AFC withdrew offer, are now not in a position to proceed. Most likely he’ll leave for free next summer, unless the perfect opportunity for both parties arises in January

There will be more to come out over this I assume

There was supposedly a contract agreed. Seems unlikely a player's going to suddenly go 'hang on, Mesut' s earning more, that's not on'

Yeah seems that was a mis-report.

Story now emerging that Emery just decided that the money could be spent better elsewhere.

The whole thing about them agreeing a new deal then the club withdrawing it is very weird. Not sure I've heard anything like that before. Can't think what might have changed their mind on someone who has been at the club for ten years who they know everything about. Only explenation is that it was Gazidis who was adamant on tying him down and now he's gone.

I think he always wanted to go into the last year of his contract after seeing the money Alexis and Özil got. He's obviously not their calibre but could probably easily double his wages somewhere with no transfer fee needing to be paid. I thought Arsenal would be that club but they obviously decided it wouldn't be worth it. I actually think it's probably the right call, as much as I love him. Annoying thing is that they couldn't sell for a decent fee.

Doesn't sound good. If it can be shown that he paid this settlement to her at the time it will look really really dodgy.

Zidane is not the answer but Mourinho needs to be gone. Horrific line up and just nothing performance. Anderson like Moura another player Jose passed on, probably did not track back enough or some bollocks.8-)

When it rains, it Mours?

I don't think anyone expected they could have been 2-0 down to West Ham though. That is truly bizarre.

To be fair West Ham clearly better than where they are in the table as they had a tough fixture list, serious fire power and a manager who has a clue.

I vaguely remember Pellegrini is there somewhere in the big list of managers that Mourinho has attacked or belittled at some point. Good riddance José.

The ultra defensive setup from Jose was like he deliberately was making a point to Pogba about attacking. Does he get that the phrase no one is bigger than the club applies to him also.
